Major M H Morrow Distinguished Military Career

Major M H Morrow, a retired United States Air Force officer, volunteers with veteran organizations and the Highland County Honor Guard. He spent two decades in the Air Force, serving in operational, security, training, and command roles. Before joining the Air Force, Major M H Morrow worked as a junior civil engineer with the California Department of Transportation.

During his Air Force career, Major M H Morrow held several roles, including shift commander, flight commander, training officer, systems security engineer manager, and chief of systems security. He also served as an operations officer, security police chief, deputy chief of a training branch, and United Nations military observer.

His military record includes several unit and individual achievements. Major M H Morrow received recognition as Best Security Forces Large Unit Air Force Wide in 1999 and Best Security Forces Unit in 16th Air Force in 1998. He received Company Grade Officer of the Year for the 55th Combat Support Group in 1989 and Security Police Company Grade Officer for the Aeronautical Systems Center in 1994.

Moreover, Major M H Morrow built a distinguished military career through multiple deployments and contingencies, advancing to unit command and Air Staff level positions. He earned 31 ribbons, 21 of them medals, three of which are Air Force Meritorious Service Medals, two Joint Service Commendation medals, six Air Force Commendation Medals, and an Army Commendation Medal.
